Indigo is situated in Borne, 3 miles east of Portsmouth. Local places of interest include Fort Shirley in Cabrits National Park, the Indian River , the Syndicate trail and waterfall as well as several sandy beaches.Lately the Waitikubuli trail opened some segments the 11 from Syndicate to Borne and the 12 from Borne to Penville and Indigo is right in between the two.

The ‘Tree Cottage’ is a three-walled wooden structure just up the hill from the gallery and has one side entirely open to the view across the valley. The shower and toilet are outside and a short walk from the cottage. There is a small kitchen , one double bed, a sofa that can be made up as a single bed. The cottage is equipped with a double hammock and a mosquito net (although you'll hardly meet one ).

Indigo is not ‘standard’ hotel accommodation but for many people, staying at Indigo is a rustic, natural and beautiful experience.
